Rahul Gandhi's satirical 'BJP Rishtedar Samithi' aimed at KCR's party on the suicide of a Telangana student
Earlier this week, the woman committed suicide in her hostel in Ashok Nagar, Hyderabad.

Raising political fervor in Telangana, a state set to hold elections, the suicide death of a twenty-three-year-old lady due to claimed postponements of competitive exams has been dubbed the murder of “dreams, hopes and aspirations” by Congress leader Rahul Gandhi. He referred to the ruling party as “BJP Rishtedar Samithi (BJP relative)” and delivered a biting jab at K Chandrasekhar Rao’s BRS as well.”BJP Rishtedar Samithi – BRS – and BJP together have ruined the state with their incompetence,” he stated.”The Congress government in Telangana will release a job calendar, reorganise TSPSC on the lines of UPSC in 1 month and fill 2 lakh vacant government posts within a year – this is a guarantee,” he stated.

Earlier this week, the woman committed suicide in her hostel in Ashok Nagar, Hyderabad. Many students accused the state government of being responsible for her murder, staging demonstrations and holding signs against it throughout the neighborhood.

Mallikarjun Kharge, the president of Congress, claimed on X that she had to take this extreme measure since the State Public Service Commission Exams were continually being postponed.

“Shocked and deeply anguished by the suicide of a 23-year-old girl student in Telangana, who reportedly took the drastic step to end her life due to repeated postponements and irregularities in the State Public Service Commission Exams,” Kharge stated on X.

“Tens of thousands of teenage candidates in Telangana are angry and outraged at the BRS government’s blatant disregard for holding exams. Telangana’s youth will remove the corrupt, incompetent, and ineffective BRS Government from office because they hold it responsible for their actions, he continued.

Gandhi, on the other hand, claimed that rather than being a suicide, the young person’s “dreams, hopes, and aspirations” were murdered.

Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, a Congress leader and sister of Mahatma Gandhi, called the repeated exam postponements “unfortunate and shameful”.

The woman had been depressed for the previous ten years, according to BRS MLA Danam Nagender, who spoke with ANI.

“What happened yesterday was unfortunate. I saw the girl say she did it because of depression. I also saw the police statement that she had been depressed for 10 days. Some people were angry and made a hasty decision. We are heartbroken.” worried about this and on behalf of the BRS party, KTR and CM will definitely handle them,” he said. However, he said that KCR and KTR are not responsible for anything happening in the state. He also accused the opposition of politicizing everything.

“BJP and Congress hold KCR or KTR responsible for everything… If someone takes a wrong, hasty decision and commits suicide then how will the CM be responsible… We are providing them with much programs and facilities. …BJP and Congress find the problem and politicize it… We will do everything for our family,” he added.

Telangana Governor Tamilisai Soundararajan has asked the chief secretary, DGP and state secretary to submit a report to the Public Service Commission within 48 hours on the incident.

The governor’s statement said: “In this particular case, the Governor has noted that Pravallika (victim) was preparing for the Group II exam, which was sanctioned by the Telangana State Public Service Commission (TSSPC). postpone”.

On several occasions, Rahul Gandhi has referred to BRS as “BJP’s B Team”. In July, at a public meeting in Khammam, he declared that his party would defeat the BRS in Telangana as it had won against the BJP in Karnataka. “In Telangana, it is a fight between the Congress and the B-team of the BJP, the BRS,” he said. When we defeat the BJP in Karnataka, similarly we will defeat their B team in Telangana.”

Telangana will go to polls on November 30.
