Amazon Is Hiring For Data Associate

Hemant Mehta, a seasoned expert in market research and consumer insights, has passed away. Mehta served as Kantar’s former MD and Chief Strategy Officer.

Mehta started working with IMRB/Kantar in 1989 under Katy Merchant, and he has been a part of the organization ever since.

His interest in media research and large-scale continuous measurement systems inspired the late IMRB President Ramesh Thadani to nominate him for the core team in charge of creating an electronic PeopleMeter.

Following that, Mehta was chosen to establish and oversee TAM Media Research as well as to introduce the PeopleMeter-based TV audience measurement technology. He headed the Media & Panel division and founded specialized verticals like Retail & Shopper upon his return to IMRB in 2000. Later, his duties included leading Kantar South Asia’s strategic alliances as well as running the companies in Bangladesh and Sri Lanka.

Mehta had been a crucial component of IMRB, Kantar, and the sector. Over the years, he had aided in the expansion of the business, introduced a number of ground-breaking services, led industry initiatives, mentored numerous individuals, and served as a valued advisor to numerous clients.
