Thrissur, Kerala: On Wednesday morning, Prime Minister Narendra Modi offered prayers at the famous Lord Krishna Temple in Guruvayur, Kerala.In the temple, the Prime Minister offered prayers in the traditional mundu and “clothes (white scarf).After that she got dressed and went to the wedding of the daughter of politician turned actor Suresh Gopi.As part of the security measures, a police officer posted at the temple told a TV channel that Modi had given the garlands the couple wore around their necks.According to the officer, the Prime Minister spoke to all the celebrities present, including Mammootty, Mohanlal and Dileep.

According to the officer, the prime minister also blessed and distributed the couples who got married at the temple early in the morning before Gopi’s daughter married.Before PM’s visit, the temple was heavily guarded by the police since early morning.After landing at the Sree Krishna College campus, hundreds of BJP members and supporters gathered at Guruvayur around 7.35 am. to welcome PM Modi.At the helipad, people of all ages greeted the Prime Minister with BJP flags in hand and festive colorful hats and caps.

He then offered prayers at Triprayar Sree Rama Swami Temple in Thrissur district before returning to Kochi to attend party and central government functions.Prime Minister Modi arrived in the state on Tuesday evening for his two-day visit to Kerala.
